Grasping The Difference Between Prosperity In The Bible And Financial Freedom

Many people who hear about prosperity misconstrue it. There is a clear difference between being prosperous and being financially stable. I believe this basic fact would be very necessary for everyone to grasp before I go any further.

When God talks about making you prosperous it goes beyond financial freedom. A person’s monetary value is all about cash for almost everything.

Being financially stable is limited to money. This is insufficient when compared with being prosperous. Prosperity in the Bible emphasizes on a wide range of resourceful possessions.

Prosperity goes beyond monetary value. It includes having good health, a happy marriage, peace of mind, the favor of God and being successful in your business, career, education and all the facets of your life.

In short, I will say it is about enjoying the amazing blessings of the LORD. He has better plans to make you the head but not the tail.

His reward for your patience, obedience, and faith would be greater than what you have expected.

“Misfortune pursues sinners, but prosperity rewards the righteous” (Proverbs 13:21).

Being Vigilant About Living A Rich Life

If you are filthy rich don’t ever think that makes you a prosperous person. I tell you the truth; there are thousands to millions of rich people who are not prosperous. I’ve already clarified this in the early paragraphs so no need to fight it inside your head.

Those whose success align with prosperity in the Bible may not have money but would be living a glorious life. What is the essence of being filthy rich but with poor health, troublesome marriage, zero peace of mind with other complicated challenges?.

It is only the Lord’s blessings that could make your body, soul and everything you lay your hands on successful.

Yahweh will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you” Deuteronomy 28:12).

In our quest for success and happiness, we become vulnerable to the Devil’s crafty devices. The Bible has, therefore, warned believers not to seek earthly wealth at the expense of his amazing plan and gifts for his children.

God has cautioned his children not to love money. The Bible states the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. We all need money because it is the basic medium of exchange that helps us acquire almost everything we need.

In spite of this simple fact, the richest and the wisest man ever to live on earth said money answers all things.

When Queen of Sheba visited him she was astounded of such kind of a plenteous life God has bestowed on him (1 Kings 10:7).

But what do you think could make him make such a controversial statement? Check it out from the Bible your self: “money answers all things“.

Don’t make a grave mistake by chasing money and wealth whiles you forget about your maker. In him dwells all the riches you need. Yearn for him every day and night and he will raise you from the ash heap and set you among Princes as he has declared in his word (1 Samuel 2:8/Psalms 113:7).

I hope this piece of article about prosperity in the Bible has been helpful to you. Never forget that every good gift comes from above.
