After Lucifer and his angels were cast unto this earth, they have never made mankind live in peace. Satan is the initiator of spiritual warfare but with the full amour of God you will be a conqueror.
Do you know that this world is so big that a lot of things are happening that are invisible to our eyes?. God said he created all these things we see on earth which include invisible forces. God created them long before mankind.
Countless powerful forces operate in the spiritual world. Some are fallen angels, others are demons, gods, etc.
They have been mankind’s enemies since Lucifer, also known as Beelzebub together with his angels were cast unto this earth after rebelling against God. The Bible described him as “The prince of this world,”The prince of the power of the air”,”A murderer” ,”A liar” etc.
He is the great principal of evil in the world and he has pledged to destroy every good thing God has created; we humans are his greatest target. His target is to wage war against the previous children of God and win their souls so that they can also face the same faith of eternal destruction.
He exalts himself with his angels to fight against God’s children to draw them away from salvation. In this very post, I will share with you interesting facts about the spiritual warfare going on in our lives.
Whether you like it or not it affects you. You don’t believe in spirits or spirituality?. Uh oh, that is your own cup of tea. Your unbelief doesn’t nullify the truth about the existence of evil forces that fight against us each day and night.
The Bible has all the answers to life questions than any other source like Google itself. So I will take references from the Bible. I will further give you the battle plan for you to win your spiritual warfare.
This world is made up of witches, wizards, gods, demons, and all sorts of evil forces that reside in water bodies, stones, trees, and higher places. They can transform themselves as loving and harmless creatures to destroy your life. They can cause great havoc to your life. Let’s read what Ephesians 6:12-13 says:
“Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
This spiritual warfare is not something to be taken lightly. The devil(your adversary) is roaring like a lion looking for someone to devour. Know that when you fall down in life the devil rejoices. He never want you to succeed.
However, God has clearly said to you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. So if you believe you are a child of God, then don’t be afraid of the devices or weapons from the Devil. Read more explanation about the Devil’s worthless weapon against your life in Isaiah 54:17.
For you to win this spiritual battle you must put on the full amour of God so that you can become strong enough to withstand the devil and his crafty devices (Ephesians 6:11).
The Spiritual Plan
Pray without ceasing:
(1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayers help Christians to stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, it helps to draw every Christian close to God. The more you pray the more the Holy Spirit strengthens you to fight and win your Spiritual warfare. Be knowledgeable about how to pray against all your enemies in a god-fearing way.
The devil hates prayers, so never stop praying. Jesus said, pray that you might not fall into temptation. The devil will use every necessary means to fight against your success or happiness.
They never want to see anything better come out of your life. My dear reader, pray always, have faith in God and you will be a conqueror. Below is a powerful verse the sends a strong warning about the spiritual battle we have in front of us:
“With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18)
Put On The Whole Armor Of God
Ephesians 6:14- 18 explains the full amour of God.
“Stand firm, therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness, by fitting your feet with the preparation that comes from the good news of peace, and in all of this, by taking up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints”.
When you clothe yourself with the full amour of God, nothing the devil will do will bring you down. Rebuke any evil spirit that tries to destroy your life in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name. At the mention of his name, all knees shall bow.
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth”(Philippians 2:10).
All those evil spirits fear the name of Jesus, this name is so powerful. All tongues shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord. To win your spiritual warfare, have faith in him. He is the rock of ages, lean on him and you shall never fall.
If the devil attacks you in the night or the day he will never succeed. Jesus died, to conquer all demons and their plans against you. You are royal in the Lord Jesus. Fear not for God is with you.
The devil can target your marriage, work, health, success, etc. to destroy it and bring you down but if you have Jesus on your side, all their schemes will fail.
These evil spirits could inflict people with deadly diseases. Just like in the time of Jesus, people believed that those people possessed by demons were actually suffering from epilepsy, insanity, etc.
They are also known as demoniacs. Our Lord Jesus Christ proved them wrong by commanding the evil spirit to leave their host, and they obeyed him. These spirits still exist and are causing a lot of harm to people. When they afflict you with diseases or life-threatening situations, no medical doctor nor life expect can deliver you, it is only Jesus Christ.
To break free from them, put on the full amour of God as I have talked about above and surely you will win that spiritual battle.
