Embracing yourself with the simple truth that proves that failure makes you a better person might be challenging. But that awful experience is the best way to achieve your lofty goals. It is part of the foundation of your success story.
Are you obsessed with failure?. In need of inspiration to surge forward? It is time you find the beauty hidden within your fails. Like a heavenly gift shrouded for the one with the greatest insight. You become a better person when you allow failure to teach you valuable life lessons.
I can’t recall this number of times I have written about failure as a stepping stone to greatness. It’s still a fearsome element in the minds of people aspiring to achieve a particular goal. The student, entrepreneur, friends, employees, parents, etc. often struggle with the fear of falling. They are trapped in a paradox. Where is the way forward?. Wait and let me help you with that.
But here is the case I want to throw more light on the reasons why failure makes one a better person. The most beautiful words that resonate in the ears is “never give up.”
Don’t be like the guy who is fond of making too many excuses for his inactions. If you are such likes then take a minute and read this: why too many excuses can make you a failure and destroy your life.
Fighting The Ill-feeling
You would be confused, angry, and anxious about not getting things done right away. There is a basic human response to certain situations that make us different from each other. The reason is simple. There is no definitive rule or road to success.
In addition, natural laws such as “cause and effects” do have a significant influence in our lives.
How would you take it if I tell you there is power in the tongue and subsequently, you become what you really want to be if you are passionate about it?
Addressing yourself as a failure is not a crime but failing to try again is the crime part. Quitting what you can overcome is the real crime. You may hardly believe that failure makes you a better person. Being part of the few people who resist failure, is a sure step to greatness.
Haven’t you ever heard about a consistent failure in one’s endeavors greater than that of Thomas Edison’s inventory journey?
As an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, “How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?” Edison replied, “I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.” — Thomas Edison
His achievement has been an inspiration to millions living today. Edison’s greatest mistake would have been … Giving up. That consecutive fails made him a better person.
No need to doubt yourself… Failure makes you a better person. Your story would certainly be different but it doesn’t mean it is impossible.
You can’t be petrified by failure. It is part of the rules of the game. You must go through them before you can gain the experience to fight other challenges that will crop up.
Failure Is Not The Enemy — A Thought To Remember
Instead of viewing failure as the villain, you need to see it as the best teacher. Every single mistake must teach you a lesson and give you some level of experience to make your next move.
When your plans to achieve your heart desires fail; you need to restrategize your plans by using the previous mistakes as tools or stepping stones.
Remember, if it doesn’t rain to keep you indoors and inactive you wouldn’t know joy when the rain stops and the sun rises.
“Would you like me to give you a formula for success? It’s quite simple, really: Double your rate of failure. You are thinking of failure as the enemy of success. But it isn’t at all. You can be discouraged by failure or you can learn from it, so go ahead and make mistakes. Make all you can. Because remember that’s where you will find success.”-Thomas J. Watson
How Failure Makes One A Better Person
I just gave you a scenario of the rain and the sunshine altogether making life beautiful. So life is a mixture of sunshine and rain. It simply means you did it wrong; Try again and try again until you find the right spot. If a single failure doesn’t teach you any lesson then I think you are not ready to achieve what you have been striving for.
The main man behind Alibaba company; in the person of Jack Ma experienced a lot of rejections but he never gave up. He kept trying something different and it worked for him. He is now the richest person in China.
Each lesson becomes the next stair to climb to the top. So if you miss one; you would have to start again or go home and sleep or keep on living in a world of fantasies.
There is a saying that experience is the best teacher. Yeah, and that is very true. Your teacher( failure) will keep on teaching you until you achieve your lofty goal.
“I don’t believe I have special talents, I have persistence … After the first failure, second failure, third failure, I kept trying.”~ Carlo Rubbia, Nobel Prize-winning Physicist
