“For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward”(2 Corinthians 1:12).
Hello, readers of African Paradise World, I recommend this very post to all my fellow Christians and anyone you believes in God. In some of my recent posts, I talked about sharing my testimony with you all. I want everyone to know that God loves us and cares for.
At this very moment, I am privileged to share with you my testimony as I keep on doing personal evangelism and offering inspiration to people. I know God has done a lot for me. It’s because of him that’s why I’m still alive. Guess what?. I have been told by my grandma that I nearly died during my birth. It’s a mystery I never knew because I was a baby.
She told me I was a minute between life and death…They rushed my mum to the hospital via ambulance and doctors made operation on her for my delivery. Right after my birth, there was light out.
Thank God I had been out then. The only thing that surely reminds me of this incidence that I couldn’t acknowledge is a little cut on my head. I could only see this cut when I shave down my hair. Its evidence enough for me that God saved me on that fateful day(10th November 1989 – Ghana) I was born.
That fateful day I survived!. Wait, I can see you calculating my age, yes! you got it. This is my testimony, and I feel grateful to share with you. I like this very song “God favored me” from Hezekiah Walker”.Yes indeed, he favored me. I will use this medium to let my readers know something little about me and my faith in God.
My full is Anthony Eshun and you can call me Tony for short. If I had died during my childbirth, I wouldn’t be here today to write to inspire people and share the word of God. I always thank him for protecting me from harm since my birth.
This is the testimony time for me. If God does something for you, be grateful and let the world know that the God we serve is a loving God. What worth much than life and being alive in Christ Jesus?.
Now let’s learn straight from the Bible; Psalms 139:13-16 reads:
“Verse 13, certainly you made my mind and heart; you wove me together in my mother’s womb.
14, I will give you thanks because your deeds are awesome and amazing. You knew me thoroughly;
15, my bones were not hidden from you, when I was made in secret and sewed together in the depths of the earth.16, your eyes saw me when I was inside the womb. All the days ordained for me were recorded in your scroll before one of them came into existence”.
In furtherance, we could notice that we know our dates of birth but not our date of deaths. Amazingly God knows that. God has numbered our days, he knows the day we will die so let us worship him and live life according to his will and he will never forsake us.
We are subjected to his rulership but he has also given us a special gift and that is the “gift of choice”. We are to make choices for ourselves, a choice to do good or bad and there are consequences and repercussions for our choices.
Now, we are all having the same journey on earth, we shall end in the grave, later on, the judgment which is inevitable.Romans6:21-23(NHEB) reads:
” 21 What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. Verse,22 But now, being made free from sin, and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result of eternal life. Verse 23, for the wages of sin, is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
Sin is a full-time job we do and our payment is death which includes the soul and the body at the end of the world. In order to free ourselves from sin, we have to incline our ears to what the word(Jesus) is saying.
Our wealth, Strengths, fame, religion, pastors, churches can’t save us but only God through his son Jesus Christ. And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples;
“How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”, verse 24; and the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again; Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God!.25, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 26, and they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him,
“Then who can be saved?”. 27, Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” Mark 11:23-27 ESV
As a matter of fact, God doesn’t want anyone to perish but if mankind would always be rebellious, then he has already dug his own grave and received his wages in full.
Hope this finds a good place in your mind, body, and soul. I’ve made a choice to follow Jesus Christ throughout my life. God loves you; Jesus loves you.
Thank you for spending your precious time reading my testimony and do not forget to thank God when he does something for you. You can also share your testimony with the people around you. Feel free to comment, share this post or give me feedback.
“I tell you the truth if they kept silence their praise of the Lord, the stones themselves will cry out. (Luke 19:40)”.
Testimony Time,
