As I keep on publishing inspiring content for the Christian fraternity, I have felt the need to remind my readers how Christian inspirational songs can deliver heartwarming messages to believers in Christ Jesus.
Even if you are not a music nerd, you still have to give much attention to it. The Bible has commanded us to praise God at all times, sing praises, spiritual songs, and hymns. When our praises go to the Lord it glorifies his name. Sometimes we ought to present our sufferings and challenges to God through songs.
As you find yourselves reading this article about Christian inspirational songs, you would come into the realization that God loves to hear us praise his name through songs. He also hears us when we present our needs to him through that channel.
“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” ( Ephesians 5:19).
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord” ( Colossians 3:16).
Music itself has a powerful influence on our lives. But as people who claim to be Children of God, we ought to be selective of the kind of songs we sing and listen to feed our souls.

Things To Expect
I know millions of Christians are battling many different kinds of diseases and sicknesses, emotional problems, spiritual attacks, and other complicated problems.
You may swim in a pool of hopelessness throughout the rest of your natural life on earth if you fail to take the right step.
Imagine the awful feeling a fellow believer goes through when diagnosed with chronic diseases??? Pray to God all the time while you feed your soul with Gospel songs.
Such kinds of challenging moments could be curtailed through Christian inspirational songs. And here I have selected 4 powerful and heartwarming songs from 4 different singers plus other playlist songs.
I will also share a little information about them. Additionally, I will chip in a few lyrics. The reason behind this approach is to unveil to you how some of these successful singers have been fighting the good fight to overcome the Devil and his crafty devices. At least that alone will inspire you amidst their songs.
4 Singers With Their Christian Inspirational Songs
1. Darlene Zschech
Behind that beautiful face, you see over there doesn’t mean everything is fine. Darlene started singing at age three. This Australian songstress was a member of the Hillsong Church. She has been fighting cancer since she left.
The problem doesn’t end there. She has to handle the stress that comes from her daughter who happens to suffer from autism just like autistic Stephen Wiltshire who is now an inspiration to millions around the world. Get details of the story behind her difficult moments from “Christianpost” .
She has already written and sung over 100 songs but here I want to single out this one entitled:
“Shout To The Lord”
Below is a fraction of the lyrics:
You’re my comfort (my comfort), and my shelter, yes (my shelter),
You’re my tower of refuge and strength;
Let every breath and all that I am
Never cease to worship You.
Shout to the Lord, all the earth,
Let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King;
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name.
Let me make it known to you, my favorite Christian inspirational song from Darlene Scheck. The title is “In Jesus Name.” Just have a glance of just two verses:
We will not be shaken
We will not be moved
Jesus You are here
I will live, I will not die
The resurrection power of Christ
Alive in me and I am free
In Jesus’ Name
You may watch her live performance on Youtube below. Her song will surely uplift your Spirit to be happy, hopeful, and fearless in Jesus name:

2. Judith Gayle
Here is another prolific figure who has taken the gospel to millions around the world. For my second list of Christian inspirational songs, Judith has heartwarming messages for Christians.
Judith Gayle-Wright was born and raised in Chateau, Clarendon. In 1998 she was awarded second place in Jamaica’s celebrated Popular Song Festival. After doing secular music for a number of years she finally felt the touch of God.
She wants the Children of God to walk in liberty and integrity. Judith has been sharing the uncompromised word of God through divinely inspired songs.
The song I’m recommending from Judith is entitled:
“Give Me Jesus”
Below is a faction of the lyrics:
In whom my future lies
When my soul is cast down
And my way looks dark
He softly comes in a whisper
“Child your future is bright”
He’s my reason for living
He’s my source of survival
Every minute of the day
Give Me Jesus
Now Give Me Jesus in the morning
Give Me Jesus in the evening
Every minute of the day
Give Me Jesus
Below are some of her popular albums:
Jesus is Alive
The Sun Shines Again
Upon this Rock
Broken to Be Blessed
3. Chris Tomlin
The next gospel artist in context is Chris Tomlin. An American singer, songwriter, and worship leader who has an astounding record of selling out 7 million copies, and winning a number of international awards. TIME MAGAZINE once stated; Tomlin may be the “most often sung artist anywhere”.
At age 14 he Tomlin wrote his first worship song and started coming into the limelight.
In 2014, he became a member of the board of directors of CURE International, which happens to be a nonprofit organization that provides medical care to children in developing countries.
He is having at least 9 full albums. And out of that, I have selected Whom Shall I Fear as part of the Christian inspirational songs I’m writing about.
“Whom Shall I Fear”
Below is a part of the lyrics:
You hear me when I call
You are my morning song
Though darkness fills the night
It cannot hide the light
Whom shall I fear
You crush the enemy
Underneath my feet
You are my sword and shield
Though troubles linger still
Whom shall I fear
I know who goes before me
I know who stands behind
The God of angel armies
Is always by my side
