Have you realized the beauty in having peace of mind?. Children of God are expected to be peacemakers. He has already blessed those who fight for unity, love, justice and perpetuate all that make us humane to one another.
Understanding why the Bible says Blessed are the peacemakers. Don’t stay unconcerned about matters about hatred and evil thoughts that lead to war. Amazingly, in our modern generation; cats and dogs make the best friends. Unlike the olden days…
As human beings; made in the image of God, we are responsible for reconciling opposing parties. Yes! It’s one of our divine responsibilities. Blessings are attached to that. But how can we love our enemies whiles they keep on planning evil against us?. Can we always turn the other cheek?. It’s not an easy thing to forgive our trespassers…
This Bible verse is reminding Christians to avoid contention, strife, and war. We are also taught by the Bible to avoid lawsuits and hostilities within families and societies.
Today has been a wonderful gift from God. We ought to thank him, worship him and obey his instructions. It says:
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9).
This Bible verse is taken from “The Beatitude.” Jesus taught us how our interaction with God and human in a positive way results in abundant blessings. It is also known as the sermon on the Mount. An amazing teaching from our Lord Christ Jesus.
Are you in for peace?. I guess you said YES. Blessed are the Peacemakers… you have already received your blessings.
A peacemaker is the one who is ready to forgive his offenders. Forgiveness and love are two major elements that helps in waging away war, fight and anything that disrupt peace.
When talking about what the world needs now — peace is one of it. It doesn’t cost a dime. You and I can make it happen if we truly call ourselves Christians. Money cannot buy peace.
“If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men” (Romans 12:18).
Blessed Are The Peacemakers: Let Your Life Be All About Peace
Kindly allow me space to share with you some Biblical lessons about the importance of Peace. Imagine staying in a house where there’s nothing like love, kindness, togetherness, understanding, tolerance, etc.
It will affect your daily activities, including your job. Why? Because there is nothing like peace. And the absence of peace vent war!. You should relocate to a place where you can find one and perpetuate it.
Christians often say we don’t want the peace that the world gives but that of God. Well, that’s on point but together we can normalize things that bring about rivalries.
Who Is Fighting For Peace For Us?.
The
International Day For Peace is celebrated on 21st September annually. Perhaps we have to congratulate the UN for working hard to prevent a 3rd world war.
Millennials don’t want to see that. We love to see peace all around because the Bible has said blessed are the Peacemakers. And children of God are the real peacemakers. Let the blessings overflow…
There hasn’t been absolute peace in our world and there wouldn’t be one. Why? Because the author of war and confusion is alive. His name is Lucifer.
On the other hand, God is the author of Peace. He wants all his children to advocate for peace and make it practical. He has said in his book “Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be called Children of God.”
“For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints” (1 Corinthians 14:33).
We are in the end times so prophecies are being fulfilled now and then. Anyone who hates peace is an agent of the Devil. It’s hard to understand why religious persecutions are still happening in some parts of this world. May we remember them in our prayers always.
Why War Began In Heaven?
It sounds paradoxical to find out that war started from the abode of the Most High God. Satan and his angels rebelled against God. He was thrown unto the earth. Satan has succeeded in bringing enmity among mankind. His agents are everywhere.
1. “How art thou fell from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weakens the nations” (Isaiah 14:12).
2. “So that huge dragon – the ancient serpent, the one called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world – was thrown down to the earth, and his angels along with him” (Revelation 12:9).
Now he will continually incite people to create chaos almost everywhere. Together in faith, we can enjoy a peaceful life until the return of our Lord Christ Jesus. You are already blessed for being peacemakers.
3. “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen” ( Roman 16:20).
