Christians often feel anxious to see miracles happening in their lives every moment, but God is saying; his ways are not your ways so let God’s will be done on earth, not yours.
The will of God may be done on earth now and forevermore. No need to panic if it is not in-line with your plans. Stay calm am trust God. God is amazing in many ways, he is greater than anything you could ever think of. You cannot fathom his greatness with your finite mind. He made the whole universe and everything in it. God has said “I surely as I live my will will be done.” Yes! He’s got no contender. He is Supreme over all things.
Why Are You In A Haste Against God’s Will?
You may feel anxious about a situation and be in dire need of a miracle. But asked yourself “is your needs in line with God’s will?.”
It could be very confusing but if you really trust God; pray and leave everything into his hand. His perfect will would be manifested in your life.
Seek the will of God first. Even Jesus Christ always relied on the Father. He taught us to pray by using some of these words: “may you will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” We popularly know this as the Lord’s Prayer.
As human beings, we are God’s greatest creation, he loves us more than anything, he has created us and has something better for us. God loves us because we bear the image of himself. His purpose for us is to make us happy and prosperous through the name of Christ Jesus. And more importantly, give us eternal life at free of charge through Christ Jesus.
Sometimes we wish for good things to happen in our lives instantly, we pray for miracles to happen in our lives instantly, but we hardly see our wishes or prayers coming to pass.
This is so hard for many of us to comprehend. Why a loving Father wouldn’t listen to every prayer and answer us instantly to free us from our miseries and all other pains we go through in life?.
The Bible explains to us how God relates to his Children like you and I.Isaiah 55:8 says;
” For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD”.
He supersedes everything, he knows everything, he knows what is best for you, he can make the right choice for you, so when you pray and your answers haven’t come don’t give up.
His thoughts for you are better than yours. Have patience, let his will be done. “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”(Matthew 6:10). Always tell God that, may his will be done on earth and have faith in him.
He knows the exact time you will need what you have asked for, he knows everything that you know nothing about so don’t feel disappointed when you need something urgently like a financial breakthrough, healings, marriage, success, promotions etc. but nothing seems to happen, wait upon the Lord.
” But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”(Isaiah 40:31).
In Proverbs chapter 16:1, the bible says;
” The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD”.
Christians shouldn’t complain too much when they face all forms of hardships or tribulations, have you considered the tragedy of Job?. He lost everything including his children but the will of God for him was to make him greater than he was before, after passing the test of faith in God.
Christians should never tremble in fear. Pray always and someday soon you will see the glory of God. God will answer your prayers according to his will. He will manifest himself in your life for you to see that his will for you is always better than what you could ever think of.
The above verses from the bible should encourage you enough to have patience in the Lord. As Christians, let the bible always be our source of happiness.
Trust in God only, have faith in him because he has good plans for you, plans that are far better than yours. May his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
I Am Willing —Says Christ Jesus
Jesus being the image of God has the power to do everything. His will is to heal the sick, bring the lost sheep to the sheepfold, and give them eternal life.
Now let me draw your attention to the will of God about the healing of one leper recorded in the scriptures. We can find the story in Matthew 8:3, Mark 1:40 – 41, and Luke 5:12 – 13.
According to the Bible, a leper asked Jesus for healing with a doubtful mind. By saying:
“Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
Then Jesus answered: “I am willing. Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.”
“So he stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.” (Luke 5:13)
The lesson here is simple; The leper subjected himself to the will of God. And God being too gracious —healed him.
As you read this post — I pray that our Lord Jesus Christ will have compassion on your pains, suffering, and any challenge that has been weighing you down in life and unload you immediately.
This will work out simply according to the will of God. God’s will is always perfect so we must learn how to be patient, while we trust him unconditionally.
God made the whole universe, he put mankind on earth for a purpose. In this case, we must allow the will of God to be done on earth.
Because he is all-wise and all-knowing. Sometimes, God’s plans for you may not feel good to you. But hey, he knows the best; be quiet and trust his ways and timings.
Let us allow him to do his will on earth always. He has good plans for every one of us. Let the will of God be done on earth.
