Understanding The Meaning Of In This Life, You Will Have Troubles

Our earth is fatally wounded by people who perpetuate evil. In a crooked world like this, there would always be suffering. Surely in this life, you will have troubles just like how John 16:33 has stated. It’s time to be courageous and hopeful in the Lord.

Suffering and pain are some of the products of Satan the old serpent. This ancient foe has vowed to make life miserable for us. As long as the devil keeps on patrolling this earth like a flying tyrant—suffering and pain will still exist. I believe you have had your share of suffering, but it doesn’t end here. The Bible’s prophetic message says in this life you will have troubles but take courage because the Lord Jesus has conquered!

No one can completely eradicate the problems of this world. Don’t trust the government or any human. Poverty, diseases and sickness, wars, violence, depression, death, etc. are still wreaking havoc on innocent lives. Maranatha —Lord come; for your children are suffering.

We live in a world where the devil, the murderer and our adversary is working tirelessly to destroy us by any means necessary. The Bible calls him ruler of the world (John 14:30). And if we have such a powerful and wicked ruler what would you expect things to be? Chaotic as usual. It is as we see now. Jesus made you aware that in this life you will have troubles.

However, the good news is that the wicked ruler of this world has no power over Jesus Christ and anyone who truly believes in him.

In this piece of content, you would be enlightened enough to understand that the pain, sorrows, suffering, and suchlikes you are facing are nothing new or unprecedented. Unfortunately, the worst is yet to come. Now is the time to stay strong and hopeful in the Lord.

I’m here to remind you to brace yourself; I’m here to inspire you to get ready to quench all the fiery darts the devil will throw at you with the shield of faith through Christ Jesus. It is pointless to keep on worrying or being afraid of the troubles you face in life. God never said he would leave you alone.

“I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.” (John 16:33)

Such words “in the world you have trouble and suffering” is a warning for all believers. Jesus ended with an encouraging message that he has overcome the world and so everyone who believes in him should take courage.

Brethren, the world is gradually coming to an end. In this case, ponder on the words of Jesus and never be taken by surprise. These kinds of suffering must surely prevail until the Lord returns to make everything new. If you are failing to endure the challenges —then pray the Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide you.

Yeah, I understand every individual you meet out there is facing some kind of problem. And each one will have an endless list ranging from health problems, financial issues, marital problems, fears, injustice, hatred, persecution, etc The truth is, you are not alone so don’t complain too much. In faith present all your troubles to the Lord and he will miraculously take you through the seas, fire, and the storms of life.

What Is The Meaning Of In This World You Will Have Trouble?

This simply means the devil will surely fight relentlessly against all the true children of God in this world with pain and suffering. He will inflict different degrees of pain and suffering on you to discourage you from staying faithful to the Lord. But in the last words in John 16:33, Jesus said “Take courage.”

If Jesus’ own words can’t inspire and prepare you to be steadfast, then what do you need again? The one who rules over heaven and earth has given you the encouraging message to be strong and courageous despite all the pain and suffering.

Giving up shouldn’t be an option because Christianity is not for sissies; but real men who are ready to live for Christ as said by Johnny Cash.

Sometimes, when you get to know the story behind a fellow friend, you would be mesmerized when compared to yours. You must be grateful for all the good things the Lord has done for you. Because someone somewhere wishes to be you or reach where you are. Ingratitude is a shameful attitude every Christian must avoid.

Take a look at all the good things the Lord has done for you and never let the challenges you face in life steal away your joy. The Bible says rejoice even if you go through all forms of trials.

The Saddest Truth

The awful truth about why you are suffering in this world is that you automatically become an enemy of Satan when you decide to follow Jesus. The Bible says we are in the world, not of the world. (John 15:19) This shows a complete separation from carnally minded people. Never be intimidated if evil men are looking successful and enjoying flamboyant lifestyles.

Suffering and troubles in life

The devil has all those who reject the saving blood of Jesus in his trap so there is no need to keep on chasing them. Now the bait is on the steps of every Christian, don’t fall for it. His most prominent move is to inflict several different pain —plus tricks on the children of God to discourage them from accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

It’s very challenging when a faithful Christian is plunged into all sorts of troubles. How many would be able to endure and stay faithful like Job who lost everything yet never succumbed to the devil?

“But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice and be glad.” (1 Peter 4:13)

You are encouraged to rejoice in the Lord even if the world abandons you. The Lord is with you to the end. In the long run, the reward for your faithfulness would be great.

Understanding John 16:33 Verse

Breakdown

That in me ye might have peace

Jesus is the only One who can give you and the entire world complete peace. The peace of God is one of the promised blessings for all believers. The UN hasn’t been able to ensure complete peace in this world. It’s up to everyone to think of a complete peace that will only come from Jesus Christ. With this, the unction of the Holy Spirit will purify every heart, comfort, and support everyone to enjoy the Light that drives out every darkness.

In the world ye shall have tribulation

This prophetic message came from Jesus to prepare believers for the suffering ahead. Thank God, we are not ignorant of the enemy’s crafty schemes and evil doings. Tribulation and all other forms of suffering are part of the life we are living. Stay strong!

But be of good cheer

You are told to be of good cheer. Knowing very well that all the suffering you and other faithful believers are going through will come to an end. Yes, don’t be discouraged because the world cannot overcome you. He Who lives in you is greater than what is in the world (1 John 4:4)

I have overcome the world

Jesus’ death and resurrection have made us more than conquerors. The blood of Jesus and his sacrificial death has destroyed the powers of darkness. (Colossians 2:14 – 15) You are therefore ensured of eternal glory in the Lord.

In conclusion, since the word of God is true, we must pay attention to its warnings. Unfortunately, most believers allow their troubles to sink deep into their souls hence driving their hopes and focus away from the Lord and the victory made available for us.

Never expect this crooked world to be fair with you. There would surely be bad days. Never lose hope, because the scriptures have said you shouldn’t be afraid.

We are in the wake up to the prophetic message that in this life you will have troubles. Some might seem unbearable, but trust God. He is still with you to the end. Think mostly about the eternal joy ahead of you, not your temporal suffering.

Remember, it is better to enter the Lord’s kingdom with a gouged eye than for your soul and body to perish in hell. Keep the hopes high and your pain and suffering will never be in vain.
