You need both physical strength and spiritual strength to live a successful life. You wouldn’t get what you want so easily. Be strong, courageous and ambitious when pursuing your lofty dreams. It works miraculously for those who believe in their dreams and never gives up. The choice is yours.
By merit, you are entitled to so many benefits in our physical world. A lesson from the Bible to give you inspiration: To attain anything great in life you must be willing to go the extra mile of earning it. God wants you to be strong and courageous to fight for what he has planned for you.
Don’t be surprised: the Devil is able to sabotage your success and even the answers to your payers. By consistently chasing what belongs to you; you will have it. God did not give you a Spirit of fear; but of power and strength.
Finding yourself on this earth is not a mistake. You live today for a purpose. You are destined for greatness. But not a single achievement will come on a silver platter. This is the more reason why you have to be strong and courageous.
The things and people trying to pull you down are numerous. Both the visible and the invisible will come on you with an iron fist. Get ready to fight the good fight. Resilience to failure is the secret to overcoming all the challenges that will come your way. Be deeply rooted that no storm can uproot you.
It’s my pleasure to present to why the Bible says you should be strong and courageous. God knows you will surely face difficulties and wild enemies. He is ever present to help. So why would you be afraid to walk through the valley of shadows of death?.
“Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or tremble before them, for the LORD your God is the one who is going with you. He will not fail you or abandon you! (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Even if you put aside all the biblical verses giving assurance of redemption from our pains and sorrows — you still have to be strong and courageous. Your flesh needs physical strength; nourished by the Holy Spirit. Don’t be surprised to know that God is interested in your health.
Your enemies and challenges will differ from time to time. Your strength alone cannot vanquish the arrows of the enemy. With God on your side, you will always come out triumphantly.
“You need not fear the terrors of the night, the arrow that flies by day, the plague that comes in the darkness, or the disease that comes at noon” (Psalms 91:5-6).
Why Be Strong And Courageous?
Your pains and sufferings are not unprecedented. You are not alone in this battle. And as a matter of fact, it would be unnecessary to complain too much. Yes, stop the lamentations. Too many excuses are not good for your life. You are not fragile for the Devil to break you.
Make your mind up that he who lives in you is greater than what is out there in the world.
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
If anyone could better tell you to be strong and courageous, then it is God. Yes God first before any motivational speaker could give you the inspiration to fight for your goals and whatever belongs to you.
The storm will come, the pains and sorrows will emerge from all angles but you have everything you need to fight within you. God might be transforming you into something more valuable. All the tears and pains will cease one day. Your joy, laughter, and success will be a testimony.
The Troubles And Pains
Life never gets easy and so you must never look weak, fearful and unfit to handle every single challenge. Can someone pinpoint to me a single man who has no life challenges?. Can someone tell me about a man who has never felt emotional pain or physical pain before?. The truth is none.
We live in a generation in which things get multiplied within a twinkle of an eye. If you buy a can of malt today at $1; tomorrow it will be $2. Your bills, taxes and other fees will increase exponentially as the day passes by. Your enemies will also increase, pains and sorrows will keep on increasing. But the good news is; you have what it takes to stop all these Challenges.
Unfortunately, some of us have to face greater demons and challenges at a continuous rate. If care is not taken, you will despair and finally give up.
I challenge you today that —all your excuses to give up to your challenges are invalid. Never give up because where there is life, there is hope. Be strong and courageous all the time.
What is challenging for you today?.
Financial constraints? marital problems? Health disorders? Joblessness? Demonic attack? etc. Don’t be afraid. All these problems are temporal. Even if it’s a chronic disease, God can heal you. It is a matter of faith in God’s perfect timing. Healing from God will make you forget all your troubles.
A Lesson From The Bible — Face Your Fears
If you believe in God then you have to be strong and courageous just like David((How David killed the giant), Joshuah, and Caliph did not become afraid of the giants inhabiting the Promised Land.
They faced foes that look big and far stronger than them. They conquered the giants right in front of them. What happened when they faced their fears?. In one of my controversial articles, I explained why fear is not real. Don’t be afraid of the enemy lurking in the darkness.
Whatever your situation is; there is hope. I mean God will take care of you. Did you Know God has amazing promises to make you happy, successful and safe from harm?. You have to be brave and courageous enough to stand for what belongs to you in Christ Jesus.
“Look, God is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For the LORD gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer” (Isaiah 12:2).
The God of David, Joshuah, Caliph, etc. never changes. He is the same God today. If that Devil or enemy wants your destruction, he will fade away like smoke. The Devil has no element in you and so cannot subdue you. You have all the strength to stand and fight triumphantly through Christ. Through him, you can do everything.
“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
By knowing who you are; God expects you to be strong and courageous. With him nothing is impossible. Bear in mind that being courageous is about causing a positive effect in situations at hand. Step forward and turn things around positively.
