You need to believe in yourself in whatever you intend to do. Fear is just illusional. Step forward, work hard towards your lofty goals and surely you will achieve them. The moment you begin to unleash that ability residing inside you — then your life will change for the best
Has anyone told you why you must believe in yourself?. Well spend a few minutes with me whiles I tell you the truth and the power behind your personality. After reading this post you will all always believe in yourself —even in the most difficult situations.
The truth is the moment you believe that something is possible then you are already one step ahead of your goal. It begins with the mind. So when the mind is positive — it automatically affects your body, mood, and reactions. The mind is telling you; hey believe that this thing is going to be possible and surely it will.
Sometimes you become afraid of failure, rejection, disappointment, disapproval, and other bad results that may come into your life. But the truth is; so far as you find yourself on this planet, as a mere human being with limitations in your abilities, you must prepare yourself to face any unpleasant situation. Whether you like it or not they will come. Believe in yourself because there is something greater in you.
Considering the fact that, there are thousands of opinions out there shouldn’t scare you to speak your mind and take the right action. We can never fall under the same beliefs, ideologies, cultures, etc.
And there is nothing to infringe your right to express your views, do what makes you happy, and make choices. That is only if your choices and actions do not break the laws of the land.
You Were Meant For Something Greater
There is no boundary to the dreams you choose to pursue. Your dreams must be unlimited. The sky is not the limit, you need to move beyond the sky. Believe in yourself that whatever you have set your mind on would be accomplished.
Self-belief is not about arrogance nor self-conceitedness. With respect, self-discipline, and hard work, you can achieve your lofty goals.
Mistakes You Should Never Make
Anyone willing to taste success in life is focused on a goal. Any noise or obstruction falls over his/her ears like water. You are the real source of your own success and happiness.
1. Avoid Comparison:
In a world of 7 billion people and still counting, no one will look exactly the same as you in terms of appearance, intelligence, interests, taste of preference, beliefs, and abilities.
In the same way, you cannot be the same as your friends, co-workers, or anyone anywhere in this world. Even if the person resembles you, you would be different in many ways. This kind of ‘uniqueness’ is what you must embrace. Believe in yourself by unleashing all the abilities in you for maximum output.
If you know your worth, you wouldn’t undermine yourself, you wouldn’t cheapen yourself for people to trample on your talents, wisdom, success, and all the good things waiting for you in the future. If you can get rid of negaholics and have confidence in yourself, you can be who you really want to be.
“Don’t compare yourself with anyone in this world. If you do so, you are insulting yourself.” – Bill Gates
Bill Gates is absolutely right. You dare not try to be better than your predecessors nor your contemporaries. If you would like to be better than anyone, it should be yourself. Yes!, be in competition with yourself and you will be the best in the long run.
2. Never Be Afraid To Try:
It is likely, people will turn down on you in moments you need their help the most. Don’t enslave yourself to let people make you a failure. If they say “NO” to your request for help, DIY (Do It Yourself).
Remember the story of the frog who told his friends that he was going to climb the tree right in front of him. All his friends shouted; “it is not possible!” it is not possible!!.” Thinking they were cheering him up, he climbed the tree. You know why?. Because he was deaf. You too can turn deaf ears on negative people and their negativities.
Things could go wrong in your life at work, in the house that you would need a so-called ‘professional’ to fix. If they refuse, you can give it a try than doing nothing at all. You may not always need a carpenter to fix your broken door, nor a Gardner to keep your lawns nicely cut. You can give it a try. Remember the words of Albert Einstein;
“I am thankful for all of those who said NO to me. It’s because of them I’m doing it myself.” – Albert Einstein
3. Avoid Laziness:
Laziness is like a sickness with
unforeseen side effects in the shorter run. If you really want to make an impact in this world, then you must be knowledgeable about the best ways to deal with laziness. It retards development and success.
Listen to that little voice inside you called conscience. What does it tell you?. Is it positive or negative?. Say “No” to any negative thought that will come into your mind. It could be the Devil whispering into your ears that you are a failure, you are good for nothing, nothing is right about you, you look ugly, stupid, etc.
4. Success Begins In The Mind
Just like I said earlier when you tell yourself that you will make it then you have employed the law of attraction. Which will truly give you exactly what you want?
“The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.”
—Arnold Schwarzenegger
A Story To Learn From
This is a quick story I want to chip in. In fact, it is a real story that happened. It goes like this:
A woman gave birth successfully to a young boy. By examination, the doctor found out that the child is autistic. Further diagnoses showed that the baby wouldn’t be able to talk nor walk. This news grieved the mother so much that she cried and felt hopeless.
On contrary, the aunt of the child took the pain upon herself to teach the child how to talk and walk. It was a painstaking decision and it took a couple of years.
Surprisingly, the baby started talking and walking. Thank God, this child can do these basic activities. The aunt has defied what the Doctor said.
Now, what is the moral lesson behind this story? It is obvious that the aunty believed that no matter what — the child will walk and talk. She put in the work of spending years — with patience aid the kid to do what everyone thought was impossible.
So I want you to believe that whatever you set your mind on — you can accomplish it. All you need is within you. The inner strength hiding inside you must be unleashed and you will achieve something bigger in life.
The choice is yours. Please don’t succumb to anything that makes you feel inadequate, failure,e or useless. Believe in yourself that you can achieve what your heart desires.
Believe in yourself and take immediate action against anything that will cost you in the future. Do it now and be free. Procrastination is a thief of time. It might be too late to catch up with a flight to your promised land.
