Going through health problems or any affliction in life make us very uncomfortable. The need for divine healing works out for anyone who believes in Christ Jesus.

What comes to your mind when we talk about healings? The Bible has given us more than enough events that talk about healing and restoring people from many different afflictions.

There is something interesting about receiving healings through the power of God and I want to share it with you today. It is a thought-provoking topic for many Christians to understand the soul, the spirit, and the body. Sometimes the soul and the body are used interchangeably just like how the mind and the heart are used.

Bear in mind that, the moment you fall sick, it means death has paid you a virtual visit. Diseases and sicknesses come from the Devil. He is the author. And it is the path to mortal death.

Be glad that the blood of Jesus has given us the power to overcome the power of the Devil including diseases and sicknesses. In his stripes, we are healed!

“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

The Body

I would like you to pay attention to this; The body goes through physical sicknesses such as diabetes, arthritis, cancer, etc.

The Soul

To the soul, one may suffer from psychological or emotional pains such as depression, death anxiety, and a broken heart.

The Spirit

Then to the spirit, one may suffer from the possession of demons, the manipulation of witches, wizards, and other evil forces. According to the Bible, our Lord Jesus Christ healed people suffering from all these afflictions from the Devil. He is still doing it today.

Pray And Fast To Withstand The Crafty Devices Of The Devil

Satan is sending many into the grave by inflicting pains, diseases, and sickness on them. As a child of God, you must be spiritually strong to overcome Satan’s crafty devices.

In view of this, the Bible has warned us to pray, fast, read the Bible as often as we can. The word of God is accompanied by miracles, signs, and wonders.

Some demoniacs in the days of Jesus got their healings without much opposition from the demons. Other demons too are rebellious – so there must be deep spiritual practices like fasting and prayers.

“But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting.” (Matthew 17:21)

To sum everything up, We can present our physical afflictions to the Doctor. And seek divine healing from God when the problem is spiritual. The respective therapist can also help heal people with psychological or emotional problems.

In all Jesus Christ is the greatest physician ever to live. He heals all types of infirmities. Whether spiritual, physical, emotional, or psychological.
