Before, I go any further, let me remind you that God is alive and capable of doing anything. He spins the earth in orbit and at the right time, his big radar of blessings will be on you.

His unfailing love covers us all the time. Such a loving father would always be willing to help His children in times of difficulty.

Unfortunately, He is no more raining down manna from heaven to feed His hungry children as He did for the Israelites in the ancient days. By His grace, we now have the body of Christ which is the bread of life. In Christ Jesus, we can find everything we need.

He Knows Your Troubles

God can see your afflictions. He knows that you are hungry, fearful, hopeless, weary, depressed, etc. But what He is saying to you right now is “Be Still.” He never fails. He has nicely packaged your blessings… Your help is on the way coming. Let faith move you to take the first step toward your redemption.

Open your eyes and be grateful for the little things He has done for you. Your gratefulness is necessary for your relationship with God. Through this, you will see more of his love, blessings, and care in your life. Don’t ask how? Just trust Him unconditionally.

How Does God Help Us In Times Of Trouble?

The nagging question here is “how does God help us in times of trouble? He uses people, things, angels, and unimaginable ways to provide for the needs of those who call on Him. Sometimes you don’t have to ask for help. But He will help you in a way you wouldn’t even recognize.

A man waiting for God's help

Perhaps there was an impending catastrophe…then He blows it out. Ask those who have gone through a near-death experience. You never asked for it and you never knew how He helped you.

Now let’s find out about how God helps us in times of trouble. I know that anxious moment when you pray so hard to God for immediate help and He doesn’t show you any sign.

By understanding why God’s timing is the best, you wouldn’t relinquish your inner strength when you receive no help from Him in times of your trouble. Because you have everything you need inside you. Unleash that strength!

I mean the Bible has said we should know how to endure the pains we go through in life. Endurance is very essential in the lives of Christians.

Because sometimes you will feel alone and dejected. Even your prayers go unanswered! My brethren, endure. Because that inner strength is given to you by God.

Open Your Eyes And See His Provisions

1. Sometimes God will not give you the food you are in dire need of. Instead, He will provide you with all the ingredients… Happy meal.

2. Sometimes He will not give you the project, but the parts or pieces for you to assemble. Just be smart enough to know all these.

Don’t move around with ignorance. Don’t you know who you are? The Bible says what lives inside you is greater than what is out there in the world (1 John 4:4). So once again I am imploring you to endure.

Here Are Some Of The Ways God Helps Us Overcome Our Challenges

Jesus has a track record of helping the needy. Do you remember, how Mary implored Jesus to help avoid disgrace when there was a shortage of wine at the wedding? He performed a miracle by turning water into wine.

Here is a book I’m recommending: Max Lucado’s book “God Will Help You” can give you more insight into understanding some of the amazing ways God helps us.

Now below are some of the ways God help us:

1. Through Humans

We are godlike creatures. I mean we have that kind of godly nature empowered by the Holy Spirit. When someone helps you in times of need, you must give glory to God. Because He who helped you is not a mere human at that moment.

Help from other people

But the radiance of God moves through him to fulfill His purpose. God works through angels and humans. Eg. friends, strangers etc, If you find this difficult to comprehend, take a look at this quote below:

“Hey dad, you wanna hear something funny? There was a man who was drowning, and a boat came, and the man on the boat said ‘Do you need help?’ and the man said ‘God will save me’. Then another boat came and he tried to help him, but he said ‘God will save me’, then he drowned and went to Heaven. Then the man told God, ‘God, why didn’t you save me?’ and God said ‘I sent you two boats, you dummy!”
-The Pursuit of Happyness

So, God sends the right people to us at the right time to help us with our needs in so many ways. We must acknowledge his amazing ways of helping us.

The Bible says if you help your neighbor by giving him food, clothes, money, etc, then you have done it for God. Why because God sees the act of giving as one of the ways of showing His love and care through a particular individual. With this, a third-person delivers God’s purpose of helping those who cry out to Him.

He cares so much about you. Never doubt this and never be ungrateful for the little help you have been receiving. Your gratefulness opens the door for more help and blessings from the Lord.

2. Angels

Throughout the Bible, we can see how God used angels to protect His people. He still does it in our 21st century. Haven’t you seen that yet?. I have already given details about how God uses guardian angels to help us in times of trouble.

Angels are God’s messengers. There are thousands to millions of them in Heaven. He sends some to help us with our needs.

Bear in mind that not every man you see around you is a mere man. Angels can transform into humans to have a real touch with us.

Just like the story of a certain woman whose daughter was dying of sclerosis. It was so severe that, the girl got disfigured. Her mother spent all her monies on surgeries but that never seemed enough.

The girl was finally given decent care — ready to be discharged. But here comes the bill… The mother was left stranded. Nothing is left in her purse.

While she was contemplating how to settle down the cost and take her lovely daughter home; the Doctor called in…

What could be the next action? She asked herself. The doctor smiled at her saying the man who passed by her in the hallway has fully paid the cost of the surgery and medications.

She was confused and couldn’t believe what she just heard. In an attempt to identify the said man, she ran quickly to the hallway, then to the main gate, outside… And couldn’t find the said man.

She finally realized it was God who helped her through His Angel.

This should remind us of how the Angel of the Lord rescued Peter from prison. Peter thought it was a kind of dream until he realized that God has truly sent His Angel to rescue him.

3. Divine Intervention

Just like what Jesus Christ said His father has always been working, so as he has been working. God never stops working around us. He has already been helping you from the day you got formed in your mother’s womb.

By His grace, you are alive. Having the breath of life in you should inspire you enough to keep on trusting God. It is a gift that about 50, 000 people lose in a single day.

Thinking: how does God help us in times of trouble

Irrespective of the number of troubles hitting you in life; God works out for the best for you. You must believe that He is always helping you in some ways. If He is opening your eyes to see every single help He has been giving you; you would be dumbfounded. Take a look at the Bible verse below:

“And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Whatever you are going through, believe that God is one your side. Don’t stress yourself all the time asking how does God help us in times of troubles.
