Are you a Christian who delights in God’s laws? Here are a number of Bible verses for law enforcement and how they affect your daily life on earth.

Bible verses for law enforcement

Just like I often say to my lovely readers that the Bible encompasses everything we need to do here on earth to please our maker. In the end, we would be rewarded with something bigger and priceless. Have you thought about searching for Bible verses for law enforcement?. Well, let me share a couple of them with you.

Let me start by giving you quick enlightenment about the laws in the Bible. There are three laws that could be found in the word of God. And I believe you must first familiarize yourself with them.

1. Civil laws

These laws were purposefully given to the Israelites. It covered things that concerned their culture, dietary restrictions, murder cases, and restitutions.

A murderer was supposed to be put to death

“Moreover, you must not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death; he must surely be put to death” (Numbers 35:31).

2. Ceremonial laws

Here again, is another law specifically meant for the Israelites. The law declared to them the kind of animals or food sources to be used in sacrifices and those that were to be rejected or declared unclean.

It was part of their customs. Practices about Thanksgiving verses has had its way to our generation. And of course, we must thank God for the food He provides us.

3. Moral laws

These laws enshrined God’s way of living. Morality was highly cherished from the beginning of human existence up to date. The law included how to perfectly render freedom and justice, sexual purity, and respect for humanity. This law still works in our current Christian lives.

For instance, there is a particular Bible verse about this law enforcement that states:

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God. Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).

Now I believe you have a clear view of the kind of laws the word of God has recorded. In our today’s Christian lives, we are not living under the laws specifically made for the Israelites. Jesus Christ has fulfilled what the law couldn’t accomplish.

If you love your neighbor as yourself and love the creator of Heaven and earth; you would not hurt anyone in any way. We have therefore been called to be peacemakers and more importantly seek the kind of peace, not this world gives but God.

Jesus Christ has already paid the price of our sins. He has taken the responsibility for the sins of the world.

In the laws governing the Israelites, there was an instance of justice for sins such as Blasphemy. Today, people blasphemy, and the mercy of God waits for them to repent.

Death sentence from blasphemy from the law

“So they placed him in custody until they were able to make a clear legal decision for themselves based on words from the mouth of the LORD. Then the LORD spoke to Moses: “Bring the one who cursed outside the camp, and all who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the whole congregation is to stone him to death. Moreover, you are to tell the Israelites, ‘If any man curses his God he will bear responsibility for his sin,  and one who misuses the name of the LORD must surely be put to death. The whole congregation must surely stone him, whether he is a foreigner or a native citizen; when he misuses the Name he must be put to death”( Leviticus 24:12-16).
