Understanding your existence is a complex thing to millions of people around the world. As far as you find yourself on the only planet fully conditioned to support life, then you are made to make a whole lot of difference.

What is the meaning of life question fully explained here
In a hectic world where everyone is striving to survive, maximize profit and derive uninterrupted happiness – We question the essence of all our endeavors.

A person might think to ask him “what is the meaning of life?” is a stupid question. But having an in-depth thought will reveal innumerable mysteries. This kind of question does not always come from kids who want to satisfy their curiosity. Maybe you are absurd with life and so try hard to understand some of its mysteries and complexities.

In this post, I will share with you some of the most important things you need to know about life. In fact, there are more than enough questions about life that the human intelligence cannot fathom.

We do ask questions like this: Where does life begin, where does it end? Is there anything like the afterlife? Does my life has a purpose? Do life exist somewhere else? … Don’t wait till someone hits you with some of the harsh truths in life before you tighten your seat belt. Find them.

As you read along, you will come to embrace the real truth behind some of these questions as an appropriate answer to the compound question ‘what is the meaning of?.

Life, What Is It?

What is the meaning of life?: It is about finding yourself in a rocking chair enjoying a cup of coffee. Unsatisfied?. Yes!. That’s just for fun. Seriously, when we talk about life we mean about ‘existence’ in a dynamic world where anything is possible to a metabolic creature(humans specifically).

From the Merriam-webster dictionary, the first definition of life states that it is

“the quality that distinguishes a vital and functional plant or animal from a dead body.”

Meaning Of Life? Whom Should We Ask?

The World is full of intelligent people. Some have awed us with their knowledge in the field of science and nature. But who is the best person to answer this question?. Is it a philosopher? the Pastor? or the scientist?

I tell you the truth none of them can find you the best answer because this is so complicated and so surpasses the knowledge of man. Thank God, the Bible gives us the basics and the in-depth meaning of human existence and even that of other creatures.

Mankind has defied God’s creation with their worldly wisdom. He has, therefore, made the wisdom of man foolish.

Would anyone who fears God believe in Charles Darwin’s evolution theory? or the conspiracy theories of the atheist societies?. Hell no!.

“For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will thwart the cleverness of the intelligent.” Where is the wise man? Where is the expert in the Mosaic law? Where is the debater of this age? Has God not made the wisdom of the world foolish?.” ( 1 Corinthians 19:20)

Where Does It Begin?

Let me draw the disparity between the ‘animate’ and the inanimate’ things around us. Since we are talking about life, ( for the purpose of our study) we limit it to the human race. A multicellular organism with an unpredictable behavior to experiment.

Fun facts: The moment you were born unto this earth you automatically gain nationality, race, religion, and culture. All of these are none of your choices till you grow up to fight yourself against the truth or settle down with what your instincts tell you. The life we live here is all about choices. Making good choices will sail you through a life full of happiness and blessings. Bad choices will eventually destroy your life.

There are other things such as plants and animals which worth considering. And whether there is life in other planets or terrestrial bodies we are not yet really convinced. The scientist keeps on telling us about alien lives elsewhere. Maybe it is true, maybe not.

To fully understand the meaning of life we must figure out where it all starts. For the sake of y Christian background, I would take it mainly from a Biblical perspective and add a little info from the scientific world. This is about helping you to broaden your knowledge about what life is all about.

Forget about the ‘Big bang theory’ that talks about the emergence of this universe out of a speck. Astronomer Fred Hoyle  was credited for coining the term ‘Big Bang’ These scientists have nothing to do with God’s creation. Forget about the theory of evolution. God made the first man and gave him the breath of life.

“The LORD God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” (Genesis 2:7)

That is how the human race began. Now we do procreate to populate our beautiful world. You first gained life during conception. That is after fertilization has taken place in your mother’s womb.

Now you are a grown up but did not even realize you were growing. This reminds us of the 4 major life transitions that affect us.

The Life In You Is Priceless

There is a saying that “where there is life, there is hope.” The meaning is simple. It is the dead that has no hope. There is nothing precious than the ‘breath’ in you. Don’t devalue yourself for whatever reasons.

Challenges will surely come but you must be resilient to stay afloat like a cork in a boisterous water.

No one has ever succeeded to create a human being. No, because ‘breath of life‘ comes from the Almighty God alone. Have you received that with gratefulness?

Why Are You On Earth As A Human?

You never chose to be on this planet(earth ) but here you are. Prepare yourself to know about what is really going on with you and the billions of people in this world. I am talking about making yourself knowledgeable about your existence as a human. Rely on wisdom from God not man and you will see the truth.

Embrace The Following

1. Your purpose

Each and every one of us has a purpose on earth. Never ever think you are useless nor unimportant. Whether you believe or not, God has purposed your life. You were born to make an impact. However, you are solely responsible for your actions, choices, and decisions. Then the reward, consequences, and repercussions follow. Some call it the law of karma which is closer to Biblical view(You reap what you sow).

2. Call To Action

You are highly expected to make an impact in life. You have a functioning brain and a complex functioning body. Work hard, love, be kind and leave an unforgettable legacy behind.

Life has a meaning so never afraid to enjoy

There is nothing wrong with having fun, relationships with friends, loved ones and exploring the things around you.

You need to do something worthy before you give up the ghost (death).

3. Facing The Inevitable

Everything that has a beginning has an end. Nature is beautiful but its laws are not to be defied. No matter how rich you are you can’t buy immortality. One day you will grow old, weak and die. The unfortunate(accident) can even send you to your early grave. And that is where life ends.

However, many religions believe in life after death. The unbeliever has nothing to worry about the afterlife. According to the Bible, each of us will account for whatever we do on earth today. If you die your spirit lives to wait for the dreadful day of the LORD which is also inevitable.

4. The Misconception

A number of people including scholars argue that life has no meaning. Haha, that’s very funny and unacceptable. It misleads our generation into lawlessness, sin, and perversions.

I dare challenge anyone who says ‘life has no meaning.’ If it were so then you wouldn’t have many different body parts making you a whole being.

Your eyes, nose, hands, legs etc. have their purposes. They are there to perform particular tasks whiles you ride the journey called life. There is the meaning of life where you are to work hard, love, be humane and sweet in a way that your presence will light up the world of people around you.

Facts To Remember Whiles You Are A Living Soul

Still digesting the question “what is the meaning of life?.” We must understand that things would either be smooth or rough. Because the whole process of spending years on earth requires more than you could ever think of. It’s an expedition that nobody knows exactly when it will end.

You can make the world s better place by adding meaning to life.
One day you wouldn’t be able to enjoy your favorite hobby, food, season etc. You will say goodbye to everyone and everything.

Consider the following:

1. You would face challenges that will force you to give up in life. The choice is yours

2. You would have to deal with people’s hatred, jealousy, conspiracies, rejections, and disappointment. Human behavior would piss you off.

3. There is something in front of you but you can’t see. It is called ‘future’. You can prepare yourself to make it beautiful or be negligent, lazy and stupid to meet a terrible future.

4. Life is made up of the physical interaction of people and things around you. Also, there is the spiritual battle which effects you. You must nurture them to be a conqueror.

5. Death is waiting for you.

6. Judgment is waiting for you.

Is life meaningful at all? Yes of course. You are responsible for living a meaningful life or a wasteful life.

The Bottom-Line

I believe this post has thoroughly answered the question “what is the meaning of life.”  I welcome your contributions, feedback, and comments.

To summarise it all, your existence as a human is the most valuable asset you could ever have. So do smile, love, give, have fun and fear God.

Enjoy the best kind of hobbies or anything that makes you happy. Why do I say that?. Because one day you would be dead? A live animal would be valuable than your dead stinking body.

If you or anyone ask “what is the meaning of life?. I will summarise it all by saying ” it is about being humane to yourself and others.’

From the day you were born, you have had the free gift of choosing what your heart desire. Yes!. No one would live your life for you. It is impossible. Even if you are sick nobody will medicate for you.
