There are people who try to strike fear in us, there are evil forces that try to strike fear in us. They conspire to destroy everything you have including your very dear life. This is the world full of wicked people. Be grateful that God has not given us a Spirit of fear…You are a conqueror already.
The Hard Truth
Christians should never forget, God has not given us a Spirit of fear. The moment anyone chooses to follow Jesus Christ, he becomes a treat to the devil and his angels. They will never STOP fighting you. This is what makes the lives of many Christians uneasy to live a normal life.
They never sleep, you must never sleep too (pray without ceasing – 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ). Even if it is into death, you must not fear. Our God has not given us a Spirit of fear so why would you be afraid of anything?.
“Being a Christian is not for sissies. It takes a real man to live for God – a lot more man than to live for the Devil.”
– Jonny Cash
True Christians are not subjected to any enemies nor demonic forces. Temptations may come but you must be steadfast in the Lord. Let the rock of ages be your refuge.
Getting Prepared For War
It’s a beautiful day once again, and as we keep enjoying the gift of life we must be fully aware of the known and the unknown enemies; Those in our world and other worlds. It is not a long time since I published an article about “Mankind’s deepest fear in life“. Now, it is about finding the perfect help anyone could ever have to overcome fear outright.
Right after talking about mankind’s deepest fear, I realized it would help a lot to let my readers understand that God has not given us a Spirit of fear.
From this post, you will understand that truly God has not given us the Spirit of fear. If you should fear anyone anywhere, it should be God, the creator of heaven and earth. He is more fierce than wildfire, lightning, and thunderstorm. His unfailing love redeems his obedient Children always.
What is your fear at all?. Is it death, betrayal, injustice, rejection, or the devil himself?. To live a proper Christian life, you should be courageous to face the enemy and any calamity. God is always with you especially in terms of trouble.
“For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-control.” ( 2 Timothy 1:7)
The devil is the author of calamities and anything associated with it, he is the author of confusion and happens to be mankind’s greatest enemy.
There is a Spiritual war going on in everyone’s lives. God knew that and so has given us all that we need to stand against evil forces and enemies that will rise against us.
God has not given us a spirit of fear. It is the same spirit that raises Jesus from the dead that lives in you. Just imagine that, why would you be afraid of the enemy?
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.”( 1 John 4:4 )
“For you did not receive the spirit of slavery leading again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba, Father.” ( Romans 8:15 )
How God Has Given You The Strength To Withstand Your Fears.
If you believe God has not given us the spirit of fear; you would be bold enough to denounce fear in any part of your life. The Psalmist gave us a demonstration;
“The Lord is on my side; I will have no fear: what is man able to do to me?.” ( Psalms 118:6)
You have zero excuses to fear anything if you have the Spirit of God in you. You should always remind yourself that God has not given us a Spirit of fear.
Enemies are not God, let them keep on conspiring against you but nothing will bring you down. By faith, you can destroy any enemy that fights against you in darkness. Jesus is the light, Darkness cannot comprehend him.
Exercise your faith all the time to overcome anything that threatens your life through the power of God.
“When you lie down, you will not be afraid; you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden fear, or of the storm of the wicked when it comes: for the LORD will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being taken.” (Proverbs 3:24-26)
God lives in you so there is no need to fear your fellow human nor any evil forces. Be steadfast in the Lord all the time. You are not alone. If you call unto God in terms of trouble he will listen. Amen.
