After Lucifer and his angels were cast unto this earth, they have never made mankind live in peace. Satan is the author of confusion and spiritual war. Fortunately for us, he has lost the battle already. With the full armor of God —you can shield off all his fiery darts.
Do you know that this world is so vast that a lot of things are happening beyond what our natural eyes can see? The spiritual realm is a crazy place where our human understanding cannot fathom everything. It’s an invisible world of warfare that affects us. God said he created everything on earth —which includes Satan and his angels. God created them long before mankind.
Before anyone dares to question the reality of spiritual battle —let him answer this question first: “Do you have a spiritual eye that sees beyond our metaphysical world? ” if the answer is “No” then that dude must be ashamed of himself.
Research has revealed that the human eye can only see light between 430 – 770THz. The human ear can only pick sounds between 20Hz – 20 KHz. In all, it means, there are a lot of things happening around us that we cannot recognize with our limited human senses.
Look it’s not a joke when we talk about the battles in the invisible world. The kingdom of darkness has vowed to destroy the children of God by any means necessary. So be on guard, child of God.
In this post, I will share with you interesting facts about the spiritual warfare going on in our lives. The devil uses various forms of spiritual weapons such as arrows, suffering, diseases, and sicknesses.
If your soul is too weak then you are going to be imprisoned by the devil. Now to be spiritually strong do these four (4) things below:
• Pray at all times
• Read your Bible regularly
• Sing Christ-centered songs regularly
• Do fasting at least once a week
May these 4 spiritual foods strengthen your soul and break you free from all spiritual attacks. Amen!
“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.” (Psalm 91:5 – 6)
Let me quickly remind you that not every problem you face out there is normal. Some diseases, failures, hardships, and several other life challenges are rooted in the spirit. Unless you break free from these shackles of pain, failure, hopelessness, etc —your life will remain stagnant or slip down the cliff.
However, the good news is that Jesus Christ has already won the great battle for us (Colossians 2:14 – 15). If you believe this; then you only have to stand in faith and wave the victory flag. I mean dance the victory dance in faith with Jesus just like how Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did in the fire with the Lord. (Daniel 3:23 – 25)
“Look, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)
Jesus our savior has given believers the authority to destroy the evil schemes of the devil. Bear in mind that there are powerful evil forces that operate in the spiritual world. Some are fallen angels, demons, gods, witches, etc.
They have been mankind’s greatest enemies since Lucifer, also known as Beelzebub together with his angels were cast unto this earth after rebelling against God. The Bible described him as “The prince of this world, “The prince of the power of the air”,”A murderer“,”A liar” etc.
He is the great principal of evil in the world and he has pledged to destroy every good thing God has created; we humans are his greatest target. His target is to wage war against the precious children of God through lies, deception, oppression… and win their souls so that they can also face the same fate of eternal damnation.
He exalts himself with his angels to fight against God’s children to draw them away from salvation. He is always looking for the vulnerable sheep to lead astray, steal, destroy and kill.
Whether you like it or not this spiritual warfare affects you. If you don’t believe in spirits or spirituality that is your own cup of tea. Your unbelief doesn’t nullify the truth about the existence of evil forces that fight against us each day and night in the spiritual realm. God said He will deliver us if we call on Him.
The Bible has all the answers to life questions than any other source like Google itself. So I will take references from the Bible. I will further give you the battle plan for you to win your spiritual warfare.
This world is made up of witches, wizards, gods, demons, and all sorts of evil forces that reside in water bodies, stones, trees, and higher places. They can transform themselves into loving and harmless creatures to destroy your life. They can cause great havoc in your life. How can we face them? Let’s read what Ephesians 6:12-13 says:
“Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
This spiritual warfare is not something to be taken lightly. The devil (your adversary) is roaring like a lion looking for someone to devour. Know that when you fall in life the devil rejoices. He never wants you to succeed; he has never delighted in your happiness.
However, God has clearly said to you that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. So if you believe you are a child of God, then don’t be afraid of the devices or weapons from the Devil. Read more explanation about the Devil’s worthless weapon against your life in Isaiah 54:17.
For you to win this spiritual battle you must put on the full armor of God so that you can become strong enough to withstand the devil and his crafty devices (Ephesians 6:11).
The Spiritual Battle Plan
1. “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17): Prayers help Christians to stand firm in the name of Jesus Christ, they help to draw every Christian close to God. The more you pray the more the Holy Spirit strengthens you to fight and win your Spiritual battles. Be knowledgeable about how the devil works through spiritual forces, humans, and other creatures. Learn how to pray against all your enemies in a god-fearing way.
The devil hates prayers, so never stop praying. Jesus said, pray that you might not fall into temptation. The devil will use every necessary means to fight against your success or happiness. Child of God, don’t give him a chance.
The enemies from the kingdom of darkness never want to see anything better come out of your life. Do you know why? Because Satan is a failure already and is destined for destruction. He wants the same destiny for you. All you can do to stay safe is to resist him through the power of Jesus Christ and he will flee. (James 4:7)
My dear reader, pray always, have faith in God and you will be more than a conqueror.
Below is a powerful verse that sends a strong warning about the spiritual battle we have in front of us:
“With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18)
2. Put On The Whole Armor Of God
Ephesians 6:14- 18 explains the full armor of God. “Stand firm, therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness, by fitting your feet with the preparation that comes from the good news of peace, and in all of this, by taking up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
With every prayer and petition, pray at all times in the Spirit, and to this end be alert, with all perseverance and requests for all the saints.”
When you clothe yourself with the full armor of God, nothing the devil will do will bring you down. Rebuke any evil spirit that tries to destroy your life in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name. At the mention of Jesus, all knees shall bow.
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:10).
All those evil spirits tremble at the mention of the name Jesus. All knees will bow and all tongues shall confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord to the glory of the Father. To win your spiritual warfare, have faith in him. He is the Rock of Ages who never changes. Lean on him and you shall never fall.
If the devil attacks you in the night or the day he will never succeed. Jesus died to conquer all evil forces and their plans against you. You are more than a conqueror, royal in the Lord Jesus. Fear not for God is with you.
The devil can target your marriage, work, health, success, business, body, etc. But if you have Christ Jesus on your side, all their schemes will prove futile.
These evil spirits could inflict people with deadly diseases. Just like in the time of Jesus, people believed that those people possessed by demons were suffering from epilepsy, insanity, etc.
They are also known as demoniacs. Our Lord Jesus Christ proved Satan wrong by commanding the evil spirits to leave their host, and they obeyed him.
These spirits still exist today and are causing a lot of harm to people. When they afflict you with diseases or life-threatening situations, no medical doctor or human expert can deliver you; only Jesus Christ can do that.
To break free from them, put on the full armor of God as I have talked about above and surely you will win that spiritual battle. You may also say this powerful armor of God prayer to stay strong in the Lord at all times.
