Dreams Come True Part 2 – The Spiritual Aspect

Dreams are part and parcels of all people and it has a lot of impacts on us. It could mean success or failure, or something unimaginable.

what to do when dreams come true
When dreams Come True we become more convinced of God’s power.

When dreams come true from spiritual interactions: Last two days I talked about “Dreams Come True Part 1” which was about setting goals for the future and working tirelessly to achieve them.

Life without dreams or goals is useless. I strongly believe you have dreams as you read these posts. When dreams come true, it is like having your prayers answered by God.

Now, here I will discuss with you the second version of dreams which is more complex to understand because it relates to the spiritual world. I will take references from the bible to let you understand that, dreams come true.

Whether you believe it or not —what the Bible says about dreams is beyond doubt. The spiritual realm is very real. God holds everything together by His power.

Three great men in the Bible proved that dreams come true. There are other biblical instances but here I will focus on three of them.

Solomon’s Dream Came True

First and foremost, let us learn from Solomon, how he got wisdom through a dream. Solomon was a King in Israel, he feared God and worshiped him wholeheartedly. God appeared to him one night and asked him to request anything he needs. Solomon did not ask for riches or anything except wisdom.

Now give me wisdom and discernment so I can effectively lead this nation. Otherwise, no one is able to make judicial decisions for this great nation of yours.

God said to Solomon, “Because you desire this, and did not ask for riches, wealth, and honor, or for vengeance on your enemies, and because you did not ask for long life, but requested wisdom and discernment so you can make judicial decisions for my people over whom I have made you king,

you are granted wisdom and discernment. Furthermore, I am giving you riches, wealth, and honor surpassing that of any king before or after you.”(2 Chronicle 1:11-12).

God gave him enough wisdom in addition to wealth. He, therefore, became the wisest and the richest man ever to live on earth. Talking about wisdom, the bible instructs us to go to the ants to learn wisdom.

He actually directed this message to all lazy people. In my older posts, I also talked about “how to obtain wisdom from God” . Trust him and he will give you wisdom if you ask. When dreams come true, it makes us believe in the supernatural power of God.

When Dreams Come True And Doubters See It

The second, person I want us to consider his exemplary life as he also had his dreams fulfilled in the Bible is Joseph. In fact, Joseph had a couple of dreams and all came to pass.

After reading this post, you will know that dreams come true so we shouldn’t joke about it. Joseph became a dream interpreter as well. Interpreting dreams is a heavenly discerned gift.

He dreamed to know that he will be the greatest among his 11 brothers. This made his brothers hate him so they sold him out. The dream became true and his brothers fell into the pit of their conspiracies.

Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him even more“.

“He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had:

There we were, binding sheaves of grain in the middle of the field. Suddenly my sheaf rose up and stood upright and your sheaves surrounded my sheaf and bowed down to it!

Then his brothers asked him, “Do you really think you will rule over us or have dominion over us?” They hated him even more because of his dream and because of what he said”. (Genesis 37:5-8)

His dream continued in the verses 9 to  10:

Then he had another dream, and told it to his brothers. “Look,” he said. “I had another dream. The sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

When he told his father and his brothers, his father rebuked him, saying, “What is this dream that you had? Will I, your mother, and your brothers really come and bow down to you?”.

Nothing they did stopped Joseph’s dream to materialise. Indeed, dreams come true and Joseph’s life is a very good example to learn from. Whiles, he was in prison he interpreted the dreams of the King’s cupbearer and the baker  and all these dreams came true. (Genesis 40:1-23).

Daniel’s Dreams Came True

The third person I want us to learn a lesson about dreams from is Daniel. He was a dream interpreter just like Joseph. He too was a captive in the days of Nebuchadnezzar in ancient Babylon.

The King had a mesmerizing dream which Daniel interpreted as the downfall of his kingdom and surely the Kingdom of Nebudcadnezzer fell. Daniel became well-known for his ability to interpret dreams.

Thus there was found in this man Daniel, whom the king renamed Belteshazzar, an extraordinary spirit, knowledge, and skill to interpret dreams, solve riddles, and decipher knotty problems. Now summon Daniel, and he will disclose the interpretation.”(Daniel 5:12).

Whenever you have a dream, take it seriously, and pray over it. When dreams come true, they could be helpful or destructive. So pray to break any life-threatening dream, pray to God to help you understand dreams that strike fears in you.

Dreams are the forerunner of what will happen in the future. Every human being dreams, but do we take it seriously?. Can you remember dreaming a more vivid dream that you thought was real till you woke up to find out it was just a dream?. Oh uh, that is not “just” a dream, it has meaning.

And it takes the spirit of God to decipher. If you are a Christian you can ask God to reveal the meaning of your dreams to you or you tell your pastor to help you understand.

Just like the above examples from Solomon, Joseph, and Daniel, they proved to us that dreams come true. Some dreams are very scary, my dear reader, don’t sit there unconcerned.

People have dreamt of their failure, destruction, or death and they had it as such. Others dreamed of their success, promotions, and happiness and it happened to them as such. This is the power of dreams. When dreams come true and it’s pleasant, don’t forget to thank God.
