Here Is Why You Should Consider God’s Greatness Each Day

Nature has revealed God’s greatness to us, so we need to praise his name, worship and adore his name for he is worthy. There is none like him.

God's greatness
“For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods” (Psalms 95:3). Feel God’s greatness around you each day

It is a great thing to serve the Lord, it is a great thing to enjoy his marvelous works and love. I have been awed several times by taking an in-depth thought of the Creator of heaven and earth and I find it worthy to share with you today. God’s greatness is unfathomable. God’s strength and power are beyond anything. You can’t imagine how He sees everything and exercises absolute control over the entire universe and even the things unseen by the naked eye. Truly, God is greater than the highs and the lows.

Are you asking about God’s greatness?

Oh wait, this person you are asking about is bigger than your mind could imagine.

1. He is the one who has no limit.
2. God has no beginning and no end.
3. He is not affected by space or time.
3. He is the one who sent His son t die and triumphs over death

As for his attributes, we wouldn’t finish listing them. So don’t bog your finite mind with the mysterious nature of the creator of heaven and earth.

He challenged his children(Israelites) who were in a deplorable state because of their disobedience; is there any problem difficult for him to solve?

He, therefore, gave a message to Ezekiel to deliver to His people that; he can restore them. We know God’s greatness can bring anything dead back to life. The vision of the valley of dry bones makes it clear enough.

The Story Of The Kid And His Father About The Size Of God

There was a kid who once asked his father how big God is. The father asked the kid to look into the sky upon seeing an aeroplane fly over.

He asked his son “what is the size of that plane?” “Very small, I could barely see it”, the kid replied.

Then the father took him to the airport. He asked his kid about the size of the plane there. “Daddy, this one is very big!”

The moral of the story is; that if you want to know how big God is, get closer to Him. Pray have fellowship with Him. Do what He requires of you and you would experience his presence in all your situation.

He is bigger and greater than your fears, pains, chronic diseases, failure, etc, God is everywhere. He fills the whole universe and beyond. This is one of the many reasons why people worship God every day.

Acknowledging God’s Greatness

God’s magnificent handy works surround us. Nature portrays his power. He has revealed Himself in nature.

We often say nature is beautiful and amazing. It is unfortunate that many people haven’t considered the greatness of God for any reason. My fellow Christians, don’t be ungrateful to God.

The Books of Job and Psalms recorded the marvelous works of God for all inhabitants of this earth to know.

He vowed on several occasions that He will do mighty works for the people of Israel for them to know that He is God. He never changes so we can also witness His marvelous works every now and then.

What has God done that makes me propagate about his greatness?. Let us listen to the writer of Psalms, King David:

God's greatness Bible verse

“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars which thou has ordained; what is man that thou be mindful of him? and the son of man, that visitest him?”(Psalms 8:3-4).

King David marveled upon God’s greatness. The Lord is awesome. We must worship Him in truth and fear him. For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Take a look into the skies during the day, admire its beauty; the beauty of the clouds and how it changes, the beauty of the sun, and how it shines; journeying from the East to the West.

Look into the skies at night and the beauty of the stars, the moon, and the milky way galaxy will amaze you. If you are lucky you will see shooting stars as well.

There are a lot more beyond the clouds but our naked eyes can’t see them all. Surely, there is a maker, a master planner behind all these works.

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning? who instructed the ocean “you can only come this far?” It is the only God who reigns above heaven and earth.

If you are a Christian, you constantly have to remind yourself that God’s greatness can never be left unnoticed. Adore him, praise him for he is a wonderful God.

When  I find myself at the beach, I try to understand the vastness of the sea by admiring its beauty, and the way the waves rise, falls, and splashes against the rocks at the shore.

I try to ask myself, “what kind of person could draw the borderline for this mighty ocean never to trespass?.” The greatness of God is unfathomable, we can not understand God’s greatness with our finite minds.

All my life I have learned that the oceans and water bodies cover about 70% of the world’s land area. How come you are not awed by God’s greatness?.

What if you provoke him and he unleashes the oceans to sweep us off the surface of the earth?. My brethren, fear God and live long, fear God, and gain wisdom. Let all nations know about God’s greatness.

The Mastermind Behind Creation

The bible says he used 7 days to create the universe. In my Christian life, sometimes I hear other Christians say, the 7 days is not literally 7 days we know, it could be 1,000’s of years.

Just like the bible said thousand years for man is a day for God, and a day for God could be a thousand years for man. Yes, it is true but my thought on creation days doesn’t ponder on God using thousand years to create things in a day.

let’s say; In the beginning, God created heavens and earth (Genesis 1:1) means 1000 days. I don’t buy that concept of man, trying to solve the puzzle of Gods one day as thousand years. So far as the bible says, with God there is nothing impossible.

Mankind’s Exploration Of God’s Creation

Mankind has navigated the oceans for long but hasn’t been able to find the endpoint of the sea.

Christopher Columbus, the greatest navigator ever known in history traveled across the great oceans back and forth but never found the endpoint of it.

God’s greatness could be seen in his creation. He used the writers of the Bible to reveal His power to us. The bible says he has manifested himself in nature so everywhere we go we can feel him. He is an omnipresent God.

Today’s navigators, despite all their expensive machines, they can never find the endpoint of the sea through navigation.

If you dare take risks for that task, you put your life in real danger. Be awed by God’s greatness, praise, and worship him for he is worthy.

“But Jesus beheld them and said unto them; with men, this is impossible, but with God ALL things are possible”(Matthew 19:26).

I have capitalized the word “ALL” to declare my faith and belief that God used a single day for all his creations for seven different days.

Have you ever thought of knowing who brought about the 7 days in a week in a cycle?. It is God, he used seven days to create all things and that seven days are what we count today to make up a week. Now you see, God’s greatness is something amazing and undeniable?
“I have made the earth, and created man upon it; I, even my hands have stretched out the heavens, and all their hosts have I commanded”(Isaiah 45:12).

God has spoken, he said, he stretched the heavens with his hands. Just have a deep thought of this verse and sense the greatness of God in your mind, heart, and your entire body. He is great and worthy, let’s worship him.

If you want to live long fear God, fear this man I am talking about for he is too powerful, too great that infinite minds cannot fathom his greatness.

You Can’t Fathom God’s Greatness

Do not question God’s greatness, just praise him. Who can challenge God’s greatness? I also tell my friends and readers that if you are alive today, you wake up each morning to undertake your daily activities, do not forget to thank God and praise his greatness.

I keep on asking “have you been terrified by the sound of thunderstorms and lightning before?”, how did you feel?

God is more fierce than that thunderstorm and lighting so fear God and do his will.

No one can withstand his anger so don’t provoke him with your idolatry, his mercies endure forever, and his unfailing love for us will never end. Praise and worship God only for he is worthy.

“Who is like unto thee O LORD among the gods?, who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders”(Exodus 15:11).

God’s Presence Is Not Hidden From Man

Today, if you are a living soul and you are living life without considering  God’s greatness, then you have a big question to answer.

He has given everything you need to survive for free; the air, water bodies, trees to produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, insects to pollinate crops and flowers for our benefit, and a lot more.

Do not be ungrateful to God. Worship him, praise him each day and he will bless you. The word of God has been the source of my life, inspiration, and everything I need to survive. So considering God’s greatness is a must for me.

King David considered God’s great power by examining his handy works, which awed him to sing and praise him each day through his harp.
